Among the innovations highlighted at the Make in India week is an interesting little robot from the Tata stable, for SME automation. Named Tata Brabo, it includes a couple of variations, including one that can pick and sort based on the colour of the object. I can imagine applications in all sorts of SME manufacturing, warehouses, retail, etc. Even more interesting is the price point, just Rs 3 lakhs. Some might even decide to buy it as a hobby robot. Now, if only I can train it to bring me my beer from the refrigerator! - Comment
